Yes, the Mike Utley Foundation will make every effort to support your fundraising activities to find a cure for paralysis. Contact us with the date and details of your event and we will provide you with brochures to educate others about the work of the Mike Utley Foundation.

Periodically the Mike Utley Foundation will offer a DVD, pictures or other products from one of our events or material that has been featured on our website for a minimal charge. Please contact the Foundation for details in your area of interest.

The Mike Utley Foundation financially supports innovative researchers that are working on projects that will find a cure for paralysis and/or improve the lives of those living with spinal cord injuries. We do not fund projects that incorporate the use of human embryonic stem cells.

There is a wide range of rehabilitation projects that are funded through the Mike Utley Foundation. Some examples include rehabilitation centers that provide biofeedback, nutrition and specific exercise programs including additions to existing facilities such as terrain parks. Recreational programs are funded to encourage the participation of spinal cord injured persons into various activities.

The Mike Utley Foundation financially supports the purchase of educational materials for spinal cord injured persons and their families. These materials are distributed through rehabilitation centers and hospitals to educate newly injured persons on adjusting to their special needs.

Most insurance plans have limitations for durable medical of $1,500.00 the initial cost of a wheelchair averages $4,000.00 to $8,000.00. The Mike Utley Foundation financially supports these purchases through rehabilitation centers and hospitals.
